English Material - Tour Guide (Semarang Trip)

Hi everyone! Today I will share with you all about English Material - Tour Guide. Starting with learning to speak and then looking for foreign words in a text after that we create our own text. This lesson teaches us all how a Tour Guide explains the chosen destination to tourists.

After reading and finding difficult words, we created our own text using a template that had been given by the teacher. And this is the text I created.

Hello everyone. Let me introduce myself, my name is Joshua Febriyantoro. I would like to welcome you to Semarang City, on behalf of Racoon Tours. It will take about fifteen minutes to go to the destination by bus.

Before the tours start, I Will explain some basic safety concerns. First and foremost, I request that you remain seated until we get to our destination and refrain from eating or drinking on the bus. Second, please keep to your timetable. Take advantage of your vacation time here, I guarantee you'll have a good time in Semarang.

This is a lovely and peaceful city where you can unwind, take in the old-world ambiance in the Old City, eat fantastic food in Kampung Laut, and feel completely protected. You can also go to the city center to witness the historical structures of Lawang Sewu, Tugu Muda, and the Ranggawarsita Museum.

This is a nice and tranquil city where you can relax, and Tirang Beach is a terrific place to visit if you want to swim in the water. You're only a short bus ride away from your hotel. You can also enjoy entertainment and play sand castle building there.

If you need to exchange dollars for rupiah, go to a bank or a money exchange. We advise against exchanging money at the hotel since you will not receive a reasonable exchange rate. Although some establishments take American or Canadian currency, it is preferable to exchange your money and pay in rupiah. Alternatively, you can pay with a credit card.

Furthermore, if you want to navigate around the city or see the Old Town, we recommend taking local buses instead of cabs.

The lesson is easy to understand. However, it is difficult to put into practice straight away. There were no difficulties, just a lot of nervousness and worry about making mistakes.

That's all I can say, hopefully, it's also useful for all readers. If there are any mistakes or inappropriate words, I apologize.

This is the link to my video, I hope you enjoy it.
